How to distinguish the quality of dispersible latex powder, here are a few methods to initially identify the quality of redispersible latex powder:

1. Judging from the appearance: use a glass rod to cover a small amount of redispersible latex powder thinly and evenly on the surface of a clean glass plate, place the glass plate on white paper, and visually inspect the particles, foreign matter and coagulation Exterior. 3. Judging from the ash content: Take a certain amount of dispersible latex powder, weigh it, place it in a metal container, heat it up to 800°C, burn it for 30 minutes, cool it to room temperature, and weigh it again. Relatively good quality for light weight. Good quality for light weight. Analysis of the reasons for the high ash content, including improper raw materials and high inorganic content;

4. Judgment by film-forming method: film-forming property is the foundation of mortar modification functions such as adhesion, and film-forming property is poor, usually due to excessive increase of inorganic components or improper organic components. Good-quality redispersible latex powder has good film-forming properties at room temperature, and poor film-forming at room temperature, most of which have quality problems in terms of polymer or ash content.

Test method: Take a certain quality of dispersible latex powder, mix it with water at a ratio of 1:1 and let it stand for 2 minutes, then stir it evenly again, pour the solution on a flat piece of clean glass, and place the glass in a ventilated and shaded place. After it is fully dry, peel it off. Observe the peeled polymer film. High transparency and good quality. Then pull it moderately, the elasticity is good and the quality is good. Then cut the film into strips, soak it in water, and observe after 1 day, the quality of the less dissolved by water is better.
