How to use cellulose ether
Fast Dissolving:
1. Under continuous stirring, HPMC is soluble in water and some organic solvents, such as rapid dissolution. Suggested method:
(1) Use hot water above 80°C to gradually add this product under continuous stirring. The cellulose is gradually dispersed in the water and becomes a swollen slurry. Stir and cool until the solution becomes transparent, which means it has completely dissolved.
(2) Heat about half of the required amount of water to above 80°C, add this product with continuous stirring to obtain a slurry, add the remaining amount of cold water, and stir until transparent.
2. Use after making porridge-like mother liquor:
First make HPMC into a higher concentration of porridge-like mother liquor (the method is the same as above to muddy slurry). When using it, add cold water and continue stirring until it becomes transparent.

Performance of cellulose ether in dry powder mortar

Cellulose ether has excellent water retention in mortar, which can effectively prevent the mortar from drying and cracking due to rapid water loss, so that the mortar has a longer construction time.
The thickening effect of cellulose ether can control the best consistency of the mortar road, improve the cohesion of the mortar, achieve the anti-sag effect, improve the operability, and greatly increase the construction efficiency
Cellulose ether can significantly improve the wet viscosity of wet mortar and ensure that the wet mortar has a good bonding effect on various substrates.
The significantly improved bond strength of cellulose ether can ensure sufficient water even in high temperature environment, so that the cement can be fully hydrated, thus ensuring better bondability of the mortar.
Cellulose ether has a certain air-entraining function to increase the output of mortar.
