Redispersible Polymer Powder

Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) is redispersible latex powders, based on vinyl ethylene acetate emulsion,which are divided into ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, vinyl acetate/vinyl tertiary carbonate copolymer, acrylic acid copolymer, etc., powder bonded after spray drying It uses polyvinyl alcohol as a protective colloid. This kind of powder can be quickly redispersed into emulsion after contact with water, because the redispersible latex powder has high bonding ability and unique properties, such as: water resistance, construction and heat insulation, etc.

Characteristics

Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) has outstanding bonding strength, improves the flexibility of the mortar and has a longer open time, imparts excellent alkali resistance to the mortar, and improves the adhesiveness, flexural strength, water resistance, plasticity, and abrasion resistance of the mortar. In addition to workability, it has stronger flexibility in the flexible anti-cracking mortar.

Advantages

Key Properties:

RDP can improve adhesion, flexural strength in bending, abrasion resistance, deformability. It has good rheology and water retention, and can increase the sag resistance of tile adhesives, it can made up to tile adhesives with excellent non-slump properties and putty with good properties.

Storage:

It should be stored in a cool and dry place. The recommended period of use is six months. Please use it as early as possible when using it in summer. If it is stored in a hot and humid place, it will increase the chance of agglomeration. Please use it once as much as possible after opening the bag. Finished, otherwise you need to seal the bag to avoid absorbing moisture from the air.
