100,000 viscosity hydroxypropyl methylcellulose

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can be used in putty with a viscosity of 100,000, while the viscosity of cement mortar should be relatively high, which should be 150,000. Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose plays a key role in maintaining moisture and thickening. Therefore, in putty, as long as the water retention is achieved, the viscosity will decrease. Generally speaking, the higher the viscosity, the better the water retention, but when the viscosity exceeds 100,000, the viscosity has little effect on the water retention.

Decorative building material grade hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can be generally divided into the following categories according to viscosity:

1. Low viscosity: 400-viscosity cellulose mainly used in self-leveling mortar.

Low viscosity, good flowability, after adding, the water retention performance of the surface layer is controlled, the bleeding rate is not obvious, the shrinkage is small, cracking, anti-sedimentation, and improves flowability and pumpability.

2. Low and medium viscosity: mainly used in 20,000-500,000 viscosity cellulose for plaster of paris products and joint fillers. Low viscosity, high water retention, good workability, less water flow.

3. Light to moderate viscosity: Mainly used for interior and exterior wall putty, the viscosity is between 75000-10000. Moderate viscosity, good water retention, good drapability in engineering construction.

4. High viscosity: It is mainly used in polystyrene particle insulation mortar powder and inorganic insulation mortar for more than 150,000-200,000 yuan.

Cement mortar has high viscosity, high water retention, and is not easy to fall off and dent, thereby improving construction.

Generally speaking, the higher the viscosity of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, the better the water retention. Therefore, in order to reduce the increase and reduce the cost, many consumers will choose to use low-viscosity cellulose (75000-10000 instead of low-viscosity cellulose.

Different types of cellulose: different types of cellulose can be used in engineering construction, food and pharmaceutical industry, daily chemical industry, petrochemical industry and other industries.
